What to Do if You're Still in Mexico

Take lots of photos of the scene from various angles and ensure that the photographs are sufficient to tell the story of the occurrence.
Write out an account of what happened before you forget the details.
Find out the names and contact information of any witnesses.
Get the contact information of the manager of the hotel that you were staying at.
If medical assessments were done, get copies of x-rays, reports, etc - even if the information is in Spanish.
